We believe the long-term outcome of our work will be changes in community practices and programming, public policy, Jewish education and practice, laws and the practice of philanthropy.

BE AS INVOLVED AS YOU CHOOSE

By participating in the grant-making process as a committee member:

• you can help select the grants to recommend for funding each year
• recommend funding amounts
• and help evaluate the grant’s impact.

If you are interested in leadership development you may:

• choose to serve as an event chair
• work on outreach efforts
• or plan educational meetings.

HELP MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE

A gift of $10,000, payable over five years (only $167 per month) makes you a Trustee of the Foundation. Your trusteeship allows you to effect hands-on change through social change grant-making for five years. As a trustee, you help change the conditions that impact Jewish women and girls. Trusteeship can be funded with cash or securities, paid by credit card or by recommendation of grants from philanthropic (donor advised) funds or family foundations.

We are underwritten by the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County. Trustee fees are invested in a philanthropic fund and used for strategic grant-making initiatives. Each trustee has an equal voice in our granting process.

At this time, The Jewish Women's Foundation is not accepting applications for signature grants for the 2011-2012 funding year. However, we are accepting issue-awareness grant applications for the 2010-2011 funding year.
